Certificate Course
Upon successful completion of the Certificate Course, students will qualify for reduced insurance premiums for up to 3 years.
The course consists of 10 hours of in-car instruction and 15 hours in the classroom. Classrooms can be done in a standard class setting in Red Deer, or online from home.
Additional driving hours may be purchased as required. By doing it this way, we are ensuring that our students are getting what they actually need, as opposed to selling you something that you don't require.
The certificate program must be completed within 12 months of the start date in order to be eligible for the insurance discount certificate, as per Alberta Transportation regulations.
*We will send you a scanned copy of your certificate right away. The hard copy of the certificate will be mailed to you. Due to the large area of central Alberta we cover, the hard copy may take up to a month to be mailed out. If you require the hard copy sooner, please let us know 1-2 weeks in advance.*
In Car Lessons // Just Driving
Lessons are available in two hour blocks for drivers of any age who have a valid Class 7 Learner’s License. These lessons are customized to the needs of each individual student. Most of these lessons are geared towards preparing drivers for their basic and advanced class 5 road tests, but we also deal with a lot of seniors and nervous drivers that just need a little refresher or confidence booster.
Manual Transmission
Whether you enjoy the thrill of driving stick or you're being forced to drive a standard shift vehicle, learning the proper skills is key. We won't just teach you how to drive a manual transmission vehicle, but how to drive it in a way the maximizes the life of the car and increases fuel economy in every day situations. If you already can drive stick and want a quick lesson just to brush up or learn proper techniques, we can do that too.
If you would like to take this as a part of the full course, we highly recommend a few automatic lessons before hand to decrease stress levels for new drivers.
Online Course
If you're unable to fit the fifteen hours of classroom time into your busy schedule, the online course is a great option. This will leave only the in car lessons which can be booked to work with your schedule. The online course is subject to an additional fee. Call or Email us to get started!
